Neshkoro seeking Citizen of the Year nominations

Each year the Neshkoro Enhancement Committee recognizes a Neshkoro Citizen of the Year. In past years, the committee has honored many upstanding Neshkoro residents, and it’s time to begin the nomination process for a resident of Neshkoro who has had a positive impact on the community through their actions.

Those interested in nominating a fellow citizen, the entry must include the reasons why you think they deserve to be the 2017 Citizen of the Year. Some of the qualities might be: volunteerism and public service; positive difference to the lives of fellow citizens; someone dedicated to the community; a person over the years has shown a willingness to work with and is enthusiastic about our community and our residents; and a person with qualities of honesty and integrity.

Nominations for Citizen of the Year should be mail to the Neshkoro Public Library, PO Box 196, Neshkoro, WI 54960, or dropped off at the Neshkoro Village Hall by Nov. 29.

The announcement of the chosen citizen will be made during the intermission of the Neshkoro Community Chorus Concert on Saturday, Dec. 2, at St. James Place. The concert starts at 5:15 p.m.
