Lucille Vezina is the 2018 Citizen of the Year

The Waushara Area Chamber of Commerce presented Lucille Vezina, Hancock, with the 2018 Citizen of the Year Award at the Fall Banquet held at the Mt. Morris Conference Center, Mt. Morris, on Oct. 19. She is pictured with her granddaughter and chamber director, Chelsie Vezina. The award was presented by last year’s recipient, Jennifer Culver. Culver said that Lucille works behind the scenes and really knows and cares about Small Town America. She volunteers at many vents and is a lifelong resident of Hancock and has boundless energy and determination. She has a contagious smile and can be seen washing dishes at the Hancock Community Center for events and works diligently for the Community Rummage Sale. Lucille believes that the Village of Hancock and Waushara County is a great place to live, work and play. She loves spending time with her family and is very community minded.
