Five arrested for heroin, pot in Waushara County
In late November 2014, the Waushara County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau initiated a Heroin Distribution Investigation in Waushara County.
The two-month invest-igation revealed Shawn Knaup, 28, Wautoma, Amanda Hopp, 31, Neshkoro, and Bridgette Messa, 38, Wautoma, were distributing heroin in the City of Wautoma, Township of Dakota, and Township of Plainfield.

In mid-January, the Waushara County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau executed a search warrant in the City of Wautoma at the John and Marie Knudtson residence.
Authorities discovered 21 marijuana plants growing inside the residence, along with approximately 220 grams of marijuana and 30 items of drug paraphernalia.
