Body found during Princeton fire investigation on March 13

On Monday, March 13, at 12:50 a.m. the Green Lake E911 Communications Center received a call of a house fire at 103 S. Farmer St., Princeton.

The Princeton Police and Green Lake County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the fire and the Princeton Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services were paged.
As the units arrived on the scene they reported an active house fire and requested assistance from other jurisdictions to bring the fire under control.

During the course of the fire investigation, during the day on Monday, an individual was found deceased within the home, who has yet to be positively identified.

The State Fire Marshall’s Office is assisting the Princeton Police Department in determining the cause and origin of the fire. The Green Lake County Coroner’s Office scheduled an autopsy for Tuesday, March 14.
