ASTOP seeks volunteers for December training

ASTOP Sexual Abuse Center is currently seeking volunteers to become trained in crisis intervention skills to take calls and help people utilize ASTOP’s 24-hour crisis line as well as volunteer advocates to respond and provide support to individuals in Green lake and Fond du Lac Counties. 

Fond du Lac advocates respond to St. Agnes Hospital Emergency Room Department, and occasion Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh, as well as the Fond du Lac County Police Departments, while the Green Lake County volunteer advocates respond to Green Lake County Police Departments. 

ASTOP volunteer training will be held at the ASTOP Office, located at 21 S. Marr Street, Fond du Lac, and will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on for Dec. 2nd; from 5 to 8 p.m. on Dec. 5; and 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Dec. 7. All three dates are mandatory.
