Almond Fire Department donates AEDs to area churches & legion
The joint Town and Village of Almond Fire Department used funds raised from its annual Chicken and Pork Chop dinner to purchase four new Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). The fire department donated their older AED units to four local locations, including the Almond Methodist Church, St. John’s Lutheran Church, the Seventh Day Adventist Church and the Almond American Legion Post 339. Once the units are delivered, training sessions will be held for community members interested in learning how to use an AED.
