Nathaniel Loging commits to Minnesota State University

Wautoma High School senior Nathaniel Loging recently committed to Minnesota State University football program.

Loging had a historic career for the Hornets during the 2014 season. He was selected for Wisconsin Football Coaches Association Honorable Mention All-State and named South Central Conference Offensive Player of the Year. Loging also broke the Wisconsin Single Game Rushing Record against Wisconsin Dells on Sept. 26 rushing for 524 yards.

“It is great to see another Wautoma football player take their skills to the next level.  Nathaniel is a great player that has a lot to offer for the Minnesota State Mavericks,” said Coach Mike Klieforth. “It is also a special pick for me because I also played football for the Mavericks. I am very proud of Nate and I am very excited to see what he can do at the next level.”

Minnesota State finished the 2014 season with a 14-1 record. The Mavericks only loss on the season came in the NCAA Division 2 National Championship Game. Minnesota State has consistently been in the top 10 in recent years in the NCAA Division 2 rankings.
