Come join the on-going celebration of Frank Sinatra’s 100th Birthday with “Simply Sinatra,” starring Steve Lippia & His Big Band on Saturday, May 7 at the McComb/Bruchs Performing Arts Center, Wautoma, at 3 p.m.

In this musical salute Lippia interprets some of the most well known and beloved Frank Sinatra hits. Steve’s singing reveals a man who truly understands a lyric, in a deeply personal way.

He brings to life the music and lyrics of some of the greats such as: Cole Porter, Harold Arlen, Sammy Cahn, Jimmy Van Heusen, Rodgers and Hart, and Stephen Sondheim. Silvercryst Supper Club, Lund’s Northwoods Auto, Retro Radio–The Bug, Culvers Restaurant, Linda and Tim Freudenthal, Weiland Refrigerated and Trucking, and Brian and Patrick Getchius at Thrivent Financial, are sponsoring the show.

Lippia is a singer’s singer. He has become one of the most prominent, in-demand vocalists and has quickly established his place among the finest interpreters of “standards” and traditional pop music in the nation. Steve’s youthful, energetic talent and powerful shows create a perfect blend of “classic” with “today.” His shows introduce a new generation to this timeless music, while appealing to long-time listeners.
