Wild Rose Village approves purchase of new truck
The Wild Rose Village Board approved the purchase of a truck at a cost of $25,000 during their April 4 regular meeting.
Perry Drmolka had spoken to the board about the need for a truck for the sewer department, which he had talked about at a previous meeting. He’s been attempting to acquire a grant to buy the truck, but it could take a year to get it. In the meantime, the current truck is in worse condition than what was anticipated, so a different one is needed before a grant can be obtained.
In other business, the board approved Al Luchini as the Village Emergency Management Director, a position currently held by the acting president Tim Ganzel. Luchini is interested in the position and will train for it. The ordinance regarding the position will be adjusted.
