Wild Rose Board hears update on dam repairs

The Wild Rose Village Board received the update on the dam repair project during their regular meeting on Sept. 6.

During the presentation, it was brought up that the work on the dam and the surrounding area appears to be done, with the gates now operational. The final examination of the work is forthcoming by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.

More thorough plans for the proposed gardening and landscaping project for the Patterson Memorial Library were taken into consideration and discussed. The plan was approved as long as Rachelle Towne can oversee the project.

An update was also given on the uniform house numbers, with the news that a more reasonably priced vendor had been located. Signs were ordered to try out on Euclid and Cleveland Avenues. Sidewalk work on Euclid Avenue was also reported to be finished, with the walk having a 5 ft. width.

An ordinance regarding sex offender residency restrictions-loitering was ap-proved for adoption by the board. It will be published for the public’s knowledge.
