Wautoma Common Council hears report on St. Marie Street project extension

MSA Physical Engineer Todd Trader advised Wautoma Common Council members the Department of Administration will allow the city to use Community Development Block Grant funds to finance the reconstruction of Mt. Morris Street—from St. Marie Street to Scott Street and the parking lot at the corner of Mt. Morris and St. Marie including storm and sewer infrastructure during the April 13 regular meeting held at city hall.

Trader also informed the council the project components are eligible for 41 percent grant funding. The cost of the additional projects will total $251,000, with $148,000 the city’s share, which includes engineering and contingencies.
