Coloma Board accepts bid for codification of ordinances

Bids were accepted for the codification of the ordinances and zoning during the regular Coloma Village Board meeting on March 26.

Clerk Brenda Walker commented that she felt this was necessary to make sure the village was current with state statutes. Getting the codes done would allow the village to put a link to ordinances online.

Board member Tom Congdon commented, “It efficient way to change or correct problems.” Jim Fousek made motion to go with General Code for codification for Coloma Village Board ordinance, which was seconded by Bob Martin.

The board approved lights on Highway 21, at a cost of $6,600 for eight poles on south side of Highway 21 and one pole on north side. Village president Steve Rogers said the funds would come out of TIF program.
