Plainfield United Methodist Women installs new officers

The Plainfield United Methodist Church recently installed a new slate of officers for the United Methodist Women, and will begin their term in January. The officers pictured are: Rita Robinson, secretary; Elizabeth Ingersoll, past president; Linda Copas, president; Mary Troxel, vice-president; Debbie Monroe, treasurer; Karin Flyte, sunshine chairperson; and Kay Eastling, bazaar and special projects chairperson. Members and officers are currently working on the upcoming Fall Bazaar that will take place this Saturday, Nov. 11, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Plainfield United Methodist Church. Many creative handcrafted items and baked goods will be on sale at the bazaar. One of the UMW’s projects has been assisting Destiny Point Restoration Home in Blenker with its efforts to provide a home for women who need assistance and a safe environment. Ladies from Destiny Point will be present on the day of the Plainfield UMW Fall Bazaar to sell their handcrafted jewelry.
