Parkside Middle School hosts WASD Spelling Bee on Jan. 26

Parkside Middle School 8th grader Deakin Buchkowski (right) took first place at the 4th through 8th grade district Spelling Bee on Jan. 26. Buchkowski defeated fellow 8th grader Veronica Hernandez in the finals. Both students will represent WASD at the regional spelling bee on Feb. 20 in Wild Rose.
