Wild Rose Board hears Inspire Science presentation

The Wild Rose School Board heard a presentation on a new science textbook series called “Inspire Science” during their regular meeting on March 9.

Elementary Principal Matt Wilbert as well as Pleasant View Elementary teachers Michelle Kasuboski and Sharon Yeska spoke on the program being used and provided visual examples.
During the presentation, the presenters explained that the interactive program from McGraw-Hill, currently being used for K-5th grade students, allows students embrace science while preparing them for a future of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) opportunities.

The program also comes with interactive guided reading level books providing the students the chance to read science text at their level and comprehend the same information so the student will not get frustrated, explained Wilbert following the meeting. Wilbert also stated the elementary schools have phased out the old textbooks and are currently the only school in the area using this new program.
