Tri-County Teacher honored with WCASS Award
ri-County High School teacher Diane Biesek recently received a Regional 2015 Special Education Teacher Award from the Wisconsin Council of Administrators of Special Services (WCASS). Biesek was honored at a luncheon ceremony held at the Bliss Center in Stevens Point. WCASS is a professional organization of over 350 members who administer and support special education programs throughout the state of Wisconsin and annually recognize providers of high-quality services with their Making a Difference Awards. Biesek was nominated for this award by Mary O’Brien, Regional Service Network (RSN) program coordinator, in recognition of outstanding achievement and personal commitment to students with disabilities. Tri-County School Superintendent Tony Marinack and School Psychologist Carrie Rodenkirch also noted on the nomination form Biesek’s high graduation rate, class community service, and work with outside agencies.
