REGI gives presentation at field days

During the Raptor Education Group, Inc. Waushara County Conservation Field Day presentation on May 7, Avian Trainer/Educator Joe Krumrie showed the 5th grade students from Wild Rose, Coloma, and Tri-County schools a Snowy Owl. Krumrie also showed the students a Red Tail Hawk, an American Kestrel Falcon, and a Great Horned Owl.  The Conservation Field Days were held on May 7 and 8 for Waushara County 5th graders and was organized by Waushara County Land Conservation Coordinator Tammi Kenton. The event included presentations and demonstrations on groundwater, wildlife, fisheries, soils, aquatic invasive species, and aquatic indicator species.
