Craig Hayes appointed as Wild Rose administrator

Among the numerous items for the Wild Rose School Board to consider during the Feb. 12 meeting was the inevitable resignation of the district administrator.

Claude Olson tried retiring once before, but his contract was revised so he could work for the school district a while longer. Now he plans to retire and will do everything he can to transition a new district administrator into the position.

The board discussed and approved the appointment of current middle and high school principal Craig Hayes as the new district administrator once Claude Olson is officially retired.

In other matters, the board approved a youth options request for a student to take some classes through Fox Valley Technical College during his senior year in 2015-16.
