Plainfield Public Library to host events this April

Spring is in the air and the library is “Blossoming” with events for young children and adults.

The Waushara County University of Wisconsin-Extension will be sponsoring “STEAM Power for Kid’s Projects” on Fridays, April 6, April 13, April 20, and April 27, from 3:15 to 4 p.m. Children will have the opportunity to take home their creations to share with their family from using Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. 

Follow along with Marie Reid on her adventure to Borneo and Rwanda to visit the great apes on Saturday, April 7, at 10 a.m. Hear about her up close encounters with these majestic creatures we all would love to see. 

National Library Week will be celebrated in Plainfield from April 9 through April 14. Adults, teens and children will have the opportunity to take part in make and take projects all week, and on Friday, April 14, the Friends of the Plainfield Library will host refreshments as our way of saying “Thank You” for supporting the library.
