Jerry Apps book launch party set for Sept. 18

The Friends of the Patterson Memorial Library (FPML) recently announced that Jerry Apps’ new book, “Wisconsin Agriculture: a History,” will be released at a book launch party on Sept. 18 at the Wild Rose Community Center. 

The party will begin with “Apps-e-tizers” at 6 p.m. followed by a book talk by Apps at 6:30 p.m., which will then be followed by a book signing in the Patterson Memorial Library. 

“We’re so excited to have another Jerry Apps book launch here in Wild Rose,” said Zina Soltis, president of the FPML, “Jerry Apps is a local hero and this book examines the history of our state, with a special glimpse of Wild Rose.
