Waushara County Diaper Drive continues in full swing

The Fit Friends for Life group from Wautoma Fitness 24/7, with help from Thrivent Action Team Funds, is about half way through their Diaper Drive ending July 9.

The drive is collecting new, unopened diapers, wipes, paper towels and baby formula for families who struggle purchasing diaper supplies. The donations received through the Diaper Drive could benefit one third of children in diapers in Waushara County.

As of June 9, the group collected half a pallet of supplies, and their goal is to reach a whole pallet. Donated items will be given to the Waushara County Food Pantry for distribution.

Those interested in donating items to the drive can drop off items at the following locations:
Wild Rose: Farmer’s Bank, Wild Rose Lions Club, Sluggers, Benny’s Market and St. Paul Church.
Wautoma: Shopko, Wautoma Fitness 24/7, Old National Bank, StoneRidge Piggly Wiggly, Hometown Bank, Hope Lutheran Church, Two Oaks Golf Course, Waushara Dental, Pioneer Floral, Culvers, Ace Hardware, Wautoma Public Library, Peace Lutheran Church, McDonalds and Copps.
