Thrift Store Styles to be featured at Christian Women’s Spring Luncheon
Wautoma Area Christian Women’s Club is extending an invitation to area residents and welcome spring with a luncheon, unique style show and inspirational speaker at noon on Monday, March 19, at Silvercryst, Wautoma.
The spring style show, “Fashion on a Budget”, will spotlight the value and fun of “Thrift Store Shopping”. Many fashions and accessories have been found at Wautoma’s County Cupboard and Evergreen Thrift Store.
The fashions are sometimes designer dresses, skirts and the latest styles in coats, blouses and jeans. Accessories such as purses, scarves and jewelry are found in abundance and can be added to an outfit to give glitz and glamour. Ladies who plan on attending the luncheon are invited to wear their favorite Thrift Store Score. No matter your age, body shape or profession you can find fabulous outfits for next to nothing.
Gina Stanley of Neenah will be featured speaker and will present “Tips for Healthy Living” and making lifestyle changes by starting one day at a time.
According to Stanley, being healthy means improving one’s diet and getting more rest, limiting germ exposure and moving more. Stanley will also give guests many ideas on how everyone can change their way of life to be better and feel better. Stanley is an ICU nurse and the mother of two teens.
