Loyal 4-H volunteers during Make a Difference Day

Loyal 4-H Club youth and adult members recently joined millions of people in the common mission to improve the lives of others through a wide range of community-driven service projects for Make a Difference Day, one of the largest annual single-days of service nationwide. Club members planned to participate in the event at their September meeting, making the Poy Sippi Library the recipient of their volunteer work. Members trimmed bushes, cleared evasive plants and raked leaves to improve the library’s property. Members plan to return to the library in the spring to continue this service project.
