Hartvig speaks to local Lions Clubs in Neshkoro

Sixty Lions members from seven different area Lion’s Clubs gathered at Nappy’s in Neshkoro for their annual St. Patrick’s Day Zone Meeting and dinner on March 14. The clubs represented included the Neshkoro Lions, Neshkoro Lioness, Kingston Lioness, Berlin Lions, Princeton Lions, Green Lake Lions, and Markesan Lions.

The Lions gathered to listen to Wisconsin Lions Foundation Executive Director Evett Hartvig speak about all the activities that will again be taking place at the Lions Camp in Rosholt this summer.

The camp will be celebrating its 60th anniversary this year and many events and activities are planned. The camp already has 500 seeing, hearing, or otherwise disabled youngsters signed up for a week of camp at no expense to their caregivers. The camp for those with diabetes has already been filled, but there are still some spots available for the disabled camp.
