Auxiliary members attend ALA In-The-Know Workshop

The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 317-Wautoma attended the American Legion Auxiliary In-the-Know Work-shop sponsored by the Green Lake Auxiliary Unit 306 at the Green Lake Post Headquarters on Oct. 7.

In attendance were National President Diane Duscheck and Department President Bonnie Jakubczyk. The American Legion Auxiliary members who attended from Unit 317 included: Delores Bruch, Unit 317 president; Diane Biesek, vice president; Katherine Miller, secretary; and Jane Melby, dual American Legion Post and Auxiliary member.

The morning consisted of sessions regarding: Reporting, Meetings, Leadership, Mem-ber Benefits, and an Auxiliary Program Overview. The afternoon session featured: Americanism, National Security, Poppy Program and VA&R (Veterans Affairs and Rehabilitation).
