Plainfield Trucking announces 2016 Driver of the Year

The Annual Employee Safety event was held at Plainfield Trucking on May 17, 2016.  The theme of the event was, “Building into the Future”. The event honors employees for their safety efforts and also provides safety education for both Plainfield Trucking, Inc. and ABN-Plainfield Trucking employees.
Employees were welcomed to the event by company Vice President, Shannon Ruffalo. Ruffalo announced that he and his brother Brandon Ruffalo recently bought out their father Gregg Ruffalo’s interest in Plainfield Trucking and ABN-Plainfield Trucking. The Ruffalo brothers are now in partnership with Darlene Thurley as owners of both companies.
Following his remarks, Ruffalo gave the stage over to Sam Sussenguth of PeopleNet and safety consultant, Jeff Swan. Sussenguth reviewed the PeopleNet communication system used in our trucks and pointed out new features. Swan answered questions about FMCSA regulations and CSA scoring.
