Kai Rowlands presents painting to Culvers of Wautoma

After winning a district-wide art competition last year at Glasgow Middle School, Kai Rowlands, Falls Church, VA, stopped by Culvers of Wautoma to present owner Eric Roeske with the painting to hang in the restaurant. As an eighth grader, Kai chose to paint Culvers for his art class assignment, “America Past, President and Future”, because it is one of the restaurants he and his family stops at while visiting his grandparents, John and Carol, who live on Silver Lake. Following the competition, Kai received a lot of publicity for his painting due to the fact there isn’t a Culvers in the area where he is from in Virginia.
