Crash results in vehicle hitting Ponderosa Pines

A two-vehicle crash occurred on State Road 73 in the Town of Leola shortly before 2 p.m. on July 24 ending with one vehicle crashing into the north side of Ponderosa Pines restaurant.

According to Adams County Sheriff’s Department deputies at the scene, the crash is still under investigation, but they believe the crash began with a failure to yield to a vehicle turning left.

The first vehicle then proceeded to travel into the parking lot and through the north side of the restaurant.

“I’m just happy no one was hurt. Everything else can be replaced,” Sandy Bula, owner of Ponderosa Pines said.

Emergency teams re-sponding to the call included the Adams County Sheriff’s Department, Plainfield Fire Department, Waushara Coun-ty EMS and Wisconsin State Patrol.
