The Wild Rose School Board approved personnel appointments during an Apr. 28 meeting.

Emily Battenberg was appointed as the district media specialist, Bailey Ramich as the 6-12 school counselor, and Caroline Ogden as a 5K teacher.

The board went on to approve the renewal of WEA Trust as the health insurance provider, and also approved the renewal of Delta Dental for dental and vision insurance.

Sandie Anderson was selected to serve on the WASB Board of Directors for Region 10.

It was determined that Sandie Anderson, Dave Williams, and Tara Anderson will represent the Board for high school graduation, while Sandie Anderson and Chris Rosin will handle the 8th grade graduation responsibilities.

The acceptance of a gift of $1,040.92 from the Depot Street Station, LLC from proceeds derived from Spirit Pump 7/8 at the Wild Rose C Store was approved.

An update on the school year which is in the home stretch brought the good news that there are still no COVID cases.  Also, the seventh session of leadership training had just taken place, and more are expected.

The next board meetings are expected to take place at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, May 26, and June 9.
