Coloma Board discusses contracts

The Coloma Village Board discussed contracts for maintenance, which are due for renewal in December during their regular meeting on July 30. The board felt the company approved to provide uniforms for the maintenance workers would work well because all of the items are sewn and kept clean. 

Tom Congdon reported that at the corner of North and Front Street a cement support wall with drain was built, which will help during heavy rains. The board discussed budget considerations for a new used dump trunk. The truck the village currently owns has been costing a lot in repairs. The board felt the funds could be saved over time. The last truck purchased by the village was in 2007.
