Aging Mastery Program® gears up for fall class

Waushara County De-partment of Aging, in partnership with the local UW-Extension office, is preparing to offer a new group of participants the opportunity to attend the innovative new ten-week health and wellness program, specifically geared to residents 55 and over.

This ground breaking curriculum is called the Aging Mastery Program® (AMP), and was developed by the National Council on Aging (NCOA). Waushara County Department of Aging was one of 13 organizations in Wisconsin to receive a grant to help make AMP available.

A participant from the first class remarked: “This program was the best program for seniors I have ever taken. Waushara County really takes care of us seniors.”
