The Wautoma High School presents the Rodger and Hammerstein’s musical classic, The Sound of Music, on Nov. 3 & 4 at 7 p.m. and Nov. 5 at 2 p.m. The beloved classic tells the story of Maria, who takes a job as a governess to a large family while she decides whether to become a nun. She falls in love with the children, and eventually their widowed father, Captain von Trapp.

Many songs from the musical have become standards and are still to this day, such as “Edelweiss”, “My Favorite Things”, “Climb Ev’ry Mountain”, “Do-Re-Mi”, and the title song “The Sound of Music.” Tickets are on sale now through the box office. Call 920-787-2189 between 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Monday through Friday.
