Gardening Tips and Highlights
Now is a great time to dream about your spring and summer garden. So sit by the fire with a cup of herbal tea or cocoa and soak up the luscious images of purple peppers, orange tomatoes, and lime green zinnias that are glowing in the photographs of the seed catalogs we all received.
These catalogs are a great source of information on how to plant, when to plant, what to plant, but can be overwhelming. I included some helpful hints to help plan your garden.
Partner with a friend: Work with someone who shares the joy of gardening as you do. It’s more fun to work with a fellow plant fanatic, someone who talks to those baby seedlings, nurturing them as if they were precious children. It’s also good economics-to share the seeds we order and double the varieties we grow.
