Wautoma Public Library April highlights

Subhead

The Wautoma Public Library is highlighting their April community events.

Virtual Program: Earth Day is April 22 and the library is celebrating all month long with their Environment and You Program on Beanstack. Be a planet protector and earn an awesome sustainable water bottle (while supplies last) when you complete the challenge. Learn how to recycle right, clean up your community, and decrease pollution and littering in our planet’s most precious resources. You will also be entered into a Grand Prize Drawing upon completion. Sign up by visiting www.wautomalibrary.org under Events and Reading Challenges.

Bluebird House Work-shop: Saturday, April 17 at 10 a.m., Tom Whalley, former president of the Wisconsin Bluebird Association, is leading an in-person workshop to build bluebird houses. Space is limited, masks are required.  Call the library for more information and to sign up at (920) 787-2988.

Seed Library: Spring is here and thanks to a generous donation from the Waushara County Master Gardeners, the library has seeds available for patrons to start their gardens.

From beans and broccoli to lupines and strawflower packets, the library is sure to have just what your garden needs. Be sure to enter the drawing for Ruffage, a vegetable cookbook, when you pick up your seeds.
