Library adapts adult programming to social distancing

Subhead

The Portage County Public Library has adapted its adult programming during the COVID-19 pandemic.  All programs are available without entering the library including using their Curbside Services for pickup and socializing virtually.  Examples of their offerings include:

Movie Club:  December’s theme is Holiday Movies.  Selected titles are available upon request.  Discussion will take place virtually; request access by sending an email to plover@pocolibrary.org

Take It, Make It, Flaunt It:  Kits are available the first and fifteenth of every month, while supplies last.  Take one home and perhaps pick up a new hobby.  Chat and share with others virtually; request access by sending an email to plover@pocolibrary.org

Book Clubs:  There are five virtual meeting times for our three Adult book clubs, including Tuesday evenings, Wednesday afternoons, and Thursday evenings. Titles are available upon request.

For more information regarding these or any library programs visit the library’s website at https://www.pocolibrary.org/ or contact the Plover Branch (715-341-4007). The Portage County Public Library has branches in Stevens Point, Plover, Rosholt, and Almond.
