Wild Rose Village Board approves 5-year loan for street resurfacing projects

The Wild Rose Village Board approved several items during an Aug. 2 meeting. A 4.5 percent rate for a five year loan from Farmers State Bank for street resurfacing projects to be signed by Village President Tim Ganzel and Village Clerk Lindsey Inda was approved by the board. Also approved were the closures of the “Tax Account” and “2013 GO (general obligation) Account)”, and moving the funds to the Village Money Market Account. Rachelle Towne was approved as a public member serving on the Joint Review Board. An operator’s license application was approved by the board, A letter of retirement from Attorney Marc Bickford was noted, and President Ganzel stated that he would check with other attorneys who represent municipalities regarding the representation of Wild Rose. It was noted that Jane Erickson donated a painting she won of the Village Hall to the Village Hall. Several buildings were featured in paintings which were in a silent auction held during Wild Rose Days. The next regular board meeting will take place at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 6.
