WCWLC to hold fall meeting, Nov. 9

The Waushara County Watershed Lakes Council, Inc. will hold its Fall Meeting on Saturday, Nov. 9, at 10 a.m. in the County Board Room of the Waushara County Courthouse, Wauroma.

The only courthouse entrance open for this meeting will be the south handicapped-accessible entrance. This meeting is open to the public and refreshments will be served.

The guest speakers will be Todd Wahler, Director of the Land Conservation & Zoning Department, and Robert Sivick, County Administrator, who will discuss High Water Levels and Resulting Drainage Problems and what is the county working on to address issues. County Board Chair Donna Kalata will also attend.

Additional agenda items for this meeting are as follows: Information & Possible Action on AIS Grant Program – Letter of Support; information and possible action on land conservation request(s); information and possible action on UW-Extension request(s) and position status; information on WCWLC Lake/River Group – White River Flowage by Mike Geier.
