Volunteers gather for tax law training at CAP Services

Volunteers from across central Wisconsin gathered for tax law training with CAP Services’ Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program on Jan. 19, at the Mid-State Technical College campus in Stevens Point. VITA offers free tax filing assistance in Stevens Point, Waupaca, and Wautoma. Low- to moderate-income individuals and families can call to determine eligibility and schedule an appointment to have their taxes prepared and e-filed for free.
