Pellet gun shooter injures one in Marquette County

The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office dispatch center received a call about a disturbance around the Lions Park in the Village of Endeavor on the evening of August 13th. The caller stated that there were multiple shots fired by a pellet gun and somebody was injured.    A victim told deputies that the male suspect said he was a cop and told a male that was riding a bicycle to get in his vehicle. Once at the park, there was a verbal argument that took place, and the suspect shot the pellet gun out the window of the vehicle as he was driving away. Witnesses at the scene were able to identify the male that shot the gun.   Deputies approached the suspect’s residence and took him into custody. Eric Haakonson was booked into the Marquette County Jail for:   -Fifteen counts felony first degree recklessly endangering safety, use of a dangerous weapon -Impersonating a peace officer -Disorderly conduct, use of a dangerous weapon -Two counts felony manufacture/deliver amphetamines   The safety of the members of our community is the Marquette County Sheriff’s top priority.
