The Neshkoro Lions will be hosting the Wisconsin Lawn Mower Racing Association (WILMRA) on Saturday, Aug. 26. The races will be held at the Lions Park Arena & Pavilion which is one mile north of Neshkoro on Highway 73.
The WILMR was started in 2005, a local chapter of the United States Lawnmower Racing Association (USLMRA). A unique growing sport, they are home to some of Wisconsin’s Fastest Lawnmowers, traveling the state of Wisconsin putting on races for fairs, festivals, events and other venues. Racing show begins at 1 p.m.
As part of this event, the Lions will also host a Classic Car Park & Shine at 9 a.m. Corn Hole Tournament follows at 4 p.m., with cash raffle drawing at 4:30 p.m. Delicious grilled food and farm-fresh corn-on-the cob will be available for purchase.
