On Wednesday, Aug. 30 at 10:30 a.m., the Junior Level Girl Scouts from Troop 6065 will be at the Patterson Memorial Library in Wild Rose for Storytime. There will be Books, songs and crafts and each participant will be given a copy of the books read that day. “Our Girl Scouts are very excited to be able to read and interact with the Storytime kids,” reported Brionne Roberts-Bray, Troop Leader, “Part of the Girl Scout Law is too ‘be friendly and helpful and considerate and caring and to make the world a better place.’ That’s a large part of why we get involved – our Girl Scouts know that reading is one of the fundamentals to learning.” Continuing, Bray-Roberts said: “Our Scouts will read two books, and each child who attends will receive a copy of the books. We do ask that parents or caregivers call the library at 920-622-3835, so we have an idea how many books to bring.” Girl Scout Storytime will be held on Wednesday August 30 from 10:30 to about 11:30 a.m. at the Patterson Memorial Library in Wild Rose, just one block east of Highway 22. For more information or to register, please call 920-622-3835.
