Christian Women’s Club invites you to welcome spring with luncheon
Wautoma Area Christian Women’s Club is extending an invitation to area residents to welcome spring with a delicious luncheon, talented guest and inspirational speaker. An invitation is extended regardless of religious affiliation. Join us on Monday, April 15 at noon at the Silvercryst Restaurant and Supper Club to savor a delicious lunch and then sit back and enjoy the afternoon.
Have you ever wanted to get up on stage and perform for an audience? It takes talent, determination and self confidence and a “no fear” personality. Our featured speaker, Rachel Snodgrass, a former CPA and Sheboygan resident, has all those attributes and she will share her experiences about how she ended on stage as an actress. How does life take a person from a quiet occupation as a CPA to an outgoing actress? Rachel tells a story about her empty life during a period of loss of control and how she searched for a way to fill the emptiness she was experiencing.
Spring brings about many brilliant colors of blooming flowers and plants and the joyful songs of returning birds. Guests at the luncheon will have a special treat hearing our own sounds of spring with music provided by Rachel who plays the flute on a professional level.
The Christian Women’s Club sponsors a “Prayer Coffee” which is held on the Monday previous to the outreach meeting. Anyone interested in sharing your home by hostessing a “Prayer Coffee” please speak to Karen Douma. It is a morning of prayer and friendship beginning with coffee at 9:30 a.m. and ending at 11.
Everyone is invited to the luncheon and program. There is a charge and reservations are necessary. If you would like to make a reservation or cancel please call 920-787-9093 or 920-787-3645. Reservations are due Thursday April 11. Please remember that the kitchen prepares for reservations. If you cannot attend, please cancel or pass on your reservation to a friend.
