Westfield High School Forensics team performs at district competition

The Westfield Forensics team performed at the district competition at DeForest High School on March 11. Fifteen entries advanced to the state competition to be held at UW-Madison on Friday, April 12. Those students are Lily Wagner and Trista Drew in Farrago, Allen Ely in Poetry, Iris Slotten and Mikayla Flight in Impromptu, Taylor Ellis in Informative Speaking, Paige Lietz in Moments in History, Owen Novy in Oratory, Carolyn Czerwinski in Solo Acting Serious, Molly Cujak, Alex Cujak, Jaylyn Rachel, and Abbey Weishaar in Play Acting, Chloe Wolzen and Morgan Myhre in Prose, Kevin Dahlke in Radio Speaking, Zane Baker Extemporaneous Speaking, and Samantha Meyer and Kiera Thiede in Group Interpretive.

Students who earned perfect scores of 25 at Wednesday’s contest were Samantha Meyer, Kiera Thiede, Taylor Ellis, Allen Ely, Morgan Myhre, Abbey Weishaar, Alex Cujak, Molly Cujak, and Jaylyn Rachel.
