Tri-County Schools provide Curbside Library service

Tri-County Area Schools has been running a Curbside Library on Monday’s from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. for their students. They bring book carts full of library books outside, and help students check out new library materials.

During this time, the school is also accepting book returns.  Students place these in a box, which the books are then quarantined for 48 hours. The books are then disinfected before being allowed back on the library shelves.

The school have also added many free ebooks on their library main page, as well as read aloud’s by the library staff.

The Library staff at Tri-County Area Schools thinks that books and reading materials as just as important as providing meals to our students. (Which our school district does on Tuesday’s and Friday’s.)
