FVTC Regional Center in Wautoma announces fall classes

Fox Valley Technical College will be offering a wide variety of classes this fall at their new location in Wautoma. Please call FVTC at (920) 787-3319 or go to www.FVTC.edu to see a full listing of classes and programs. CDL Truck Driving Program: Class A CDL truck driving. This program is being offered for the fall semester and starts Wednesday, Sept. 19. Classes are held Monday-Thursday 7:30 am-5 pm. FVTC Wautoma Welding: FVTC Wautoma will be offering welding classes this fall as a pathway to earn certificates in Basic GMAW Welder and Welding Fundamentals. These classes will also offer the opportunity to obtain a GED or HSED (High School Equivalency Diploma). Classes will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Welding/Metal Fab Intro to Safety—Class #53334, Aug. 28 – Oct. 16, 4 pm-7 pm: This class provides instruction in welding and metal fabrication safety. GMAW Techniques—Class #53344, Aug. 23 – Dec. 13, 4 pm-8 pm: This class demonstrates welding on steel sheet metals and plates. Emphasis is placed on axial spray, pulse spray, and short circuit mode of transfer. Weld Print Reading—Class #53335, Oct. 23 – Dec. 18, 4 pm-7 pm: This class offers practice in reading shop drawings. Nursing Assistant Pro-gram: This program will help you learn how to provide for the personal care and comfort of people with health problems. Upon completion, you’ll be ready to take the certification exam. You will have a variety of employment options as a certified nursing assistant (CNA). This program will run in the fall term.
