Fox Valley Community Foundation awards Langenfeld scholarship

Samuel Langenfeld, of rural Hancock, was recently awarded an $8,000 scholarship from the Fox Valley Community Foundation. Founded in 1952 in memory of Frank Sensen-brenner, one of the founders of Kimberly Clark, the Infant Welfare Circle F.J. Sensenbrenner scholarship is awarded to a student based on scholastic achievement and proven leadership skills. Samuel attended Wis-consin Connections Aca-demy, an online virtual school offered through the Appleton Area School District, for seven years and graduated in June. He will be attending UW-Green Bay in the Fall pursuing a degree in Environmental Design.
