Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin Is instrumental in providing scholarships

Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin (CFCWI) is a leading partner in providing opportunities for connecting community donors and their funds to various needs in Portage and Waushara County. One specific area where this connection has shown very positive results is with student scholarships. A successful partnership between Waushara County donors, the Wild Rose School District, Wautoma Area School District and Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin has resulted in funding growth, program sustainability and the meeting of student needs. In 2018, through Scholarship Investment administered by CFCWI, 27 scholarships were awarded to graduating students in the Wild Rose School District for a total of $37,350 and 9 scholarships were awarded to graduating students in the Wautoma Area School District for a total of $7,150.   A primary goal of the Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin is to support education. Generous donors who provide funds for the Scholarship Program realize that the tradition of rewarding deserving students in Waushara County is an educational investment in the future.
