Wautoma High School and Redgranite Elementary art students collaborate
At the beginning of the year, third graders in Julie Petersen’s class at Redgranite Elementary School created a piece of art that could depict anything that came to their minds. This art was then given to Preston Miller at the High School. His art students then created their own rendition of the third graders’ art through a variety of materials. Some work was reinterpreted digitally and some turned into 3D renditions. All pieces were showcased at the WASD District Wide Art Show and some were even featured at the South Central Conference High School Art Show in Wisconsin Dells. All the students were super excited to meet their art pals on Tuesday, May 14 to see the final products.
