Wild Rose wins against Rosholt in baseball regionals

    After drawing a first round bye, the Wild Rose Wildcats hosted the Rosholt Hornets for the second round of regional baseball action on May 29 and swatted the stinging pests for an 8-3 victory. This earned the Wildcats the right to travel to Almond to take on the Eagles for the regional championship.     Rosholt got on the board in the first inning with a run on a single by Garski. A teammate got on base with a walk, while another got on by way of an error.     Wild Rose returned the favor in the bottom of the inning with 2 runs on 2 outs. Cole Ramczyk, Travis Jansen, and Matthew Wildner each singled, while Jaylon Zacharias doubled for a 2-1 lead.     The visitors got a hit out of Kaminski in the second inning, while a teammate was hit with a pitch.
