Wild Rose boys Track earn thirteen first place finishes

The Wild Rose boys’ track team captured first place at a six-team home meet with 248 points on April 9.

Wautoma came in second with 113 points, followed by Almond-Bancroft with 64, Marion with 18, Tigerton with 8, and Wisconsin Valley Lutheran with 1.

Wild Rose tallied 13 first place finishes in the following categories: 100m, 200m, and 400m dashes, the 400m, 1600m, and 3200m relays, the 110m high and 300m intermediate hurdles, the long and triple jumps, the 800m run, the shot put, and the discus.

Wautoma’s two first place finishes were acquired in the 1600m and 3200m runs, while Almond-Bancroft’s two firsts came in the 800m relay and the high jump.
